In Bb - a collaborative music/spoken word project
Composer and producer Darren Solomon has created this lovely interactive video piece, consisting of a grid of twenty videos of music or spoken word, all in Bb. Founded on the realization that multiple embedded YouTube videos can be played simultaneously, this site lets you create a piece by starting the videos at different times and playing them at different volumes.

Sun Boxes are an environment to enter and exit. It’s comprised of twenty speakers operating independently each powered by solar panels. There is a different guitar sample in each box all playing together making the composition. The guitar samples are all of different lengths so the whole piece keeps evolving.
